Danny Marl Bonner, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, in Ashford, Alabama, at the age of 76. Born on March 26, 1948, in Houston County, Alabama, Danny’s life was a testament to the power of love and family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents Billy Bonner and Grace Adams Bonner and brother Phil Bonner.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of many years, Sharlett Bonner, who stood by his side as a beacon of support and love. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Stephen Bonner and Casey Bonner (Wendy). He is also survived by his brother, Stanley Bonner, and sister, Gayle Patterson (Larry).

His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Dillon Bonner (Alexis) Ethan Bonner (Laci McKnight), who will carry forward his lessons of compassion and love. A special place in Danny’s heart was reserved for his great-granddaughter, Blair Lane Bonner, who brought him immeasurable happiness and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Danny’s presence will be deeply missed, yet his influence will remain a comforting and abiding force in the lives of all who knew him.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Bonner, Ethan Bonner, Billy Womack, Chad Patterson, Jimmy Paramore and Jeremy Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Patterson, John Adams, Max Adams and Tommy Adams.
