Danny White, 55 a resident of Dothan passed away May 19, 2016 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 4 pm Saturday May 21, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park with Brother Jerry Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2pm until 4pm Saturday.

Danny was born January 11, 1961 in Dothan and he lived the early years of his life in Columbia. Danny was a 1979 graduate of Columbia High School where he played football. He was employed with Pepsi-Cola for several years and later with U.S. Foods and McLane Distribution. Recently, he established Great White Trucking and was operating the business until the time of his death. Danny loved Alabama Football, fishing and hunting. He loved helping out Taylor/Rehobeth Ball Association where both his children played.

Survivors include his wife Kathy White; his son, Brody White; his daughter, Taylor Phillips; his mother-in-law, Doris Waters; his sisters, Mary (Sam) Covington and Wanda (Vic) Pendley; a nephew he was raised with Brad (Jodi) White; a sister-in-law, Beckie White; brothers-in-law, Brian (Katie) Peterson, DeLane (Cheryl) Peterson, Robert (Kathy) Waters, Howard (Lisa) Waters, and Barry (Kim) Kirkland; several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Roy Barbaree, John Roberts, John Jordan, and Brad White.
