Darlene Hogan, 51, a resident of Columbia, AL passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Hogan was born June 26, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio and she spent the early part of her life there. She has lived in the Wiregrass area since the age of 13 and was a homemaker. She loved gardening, shopping, going to the beach, the lake and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always known as the "life of the party" to her friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Kevin Edwards, Dolly Davis (Nicholas Singletary), Patricia Mathis (Wesley), and Crystal Wheeler (Johnny); 13 grandchildren; brothers, Charles Hogan (Jennifer), Eugene Hogan, Benny Hogan and Robert Hogan; numerous nieces and nephews.
