Darren C. Scott, of Rehobeth, was called home by the Lord unexpectedly Friday, August 26, 2022. He was 28 years old.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM Friday, September 2, 2022, at Malvern Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Darren was born on July 7, 1994, in Dothan, Alabama to Johnny Scott and the late Carole Scott. He was a 2012 graduate of Rehobeth High School. Darren was currently employed as a Regional Manager with Meraki Solar in Lynn Haven, Florida. He was a business entrepreneur, with time spent at Bama Slam and Meraki Solar. Darren loved being a father to his son, Jaxson. Often, you would find them spending father/son time together, enjoying new adventures, from snow skiing to Disney World. Darren loved his dad and that love showed in the relationship he had with his son. Darren lived life to the fullest, doing more in his short lifetime than most people do their whole life. Darren will be remembered for his bright, blue eyes and contagious smile that could light up a room.

In addition to his mother, Carole Blount Scott, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny H. Scott, Annie Scott, Larry Bracewell, and Peggy Bracewell; and sister, Melissa Scott.

He is survived by his son, Jaxson Scott; father, Johnny Scott; brother, Aaron Scott; aunt, Teresa Neal (Joe); special friends, Cody Strickland and Hayden Enfinger; and numerous other family members and friends.
