DARYLE LAMONTA WARREN
HEADLAND… Daryle Lamonta Warren, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home. He was 53.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M Friday October 25, 2024 at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Reverend Acy Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in First Missionary Baptist Church of Newville Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Warren was born in Henry County, Alabama, to Angill Warren and Alex C. Lingo. He attended Headland High School. He was employed by Dothan Warehouse as a forklift driver until his medical retirement. He loved "Roll Tide" and Dallas Cowboys. Although there were so many unique things about Daryle, but one thing for sure, he was no follower, but a true leader. He was the definition of a real man. Daryle had no biological children, but he was a father figure to many. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Newville, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Salter; his brother, Terrance Graham; maternal grandparents, Sylvester Warren, Sr. and Algeria Warren; his paternal grandparents, Alex C. Lingo, Sr. and Carrie Lingo; his and his uncle, Wallace Warren.
Surviving relatives include his loving mother, Angill Warren; his father, Alex C. Lingo; his sisters, Melissa McNealey, and Contine Kinsey (John); his brothers, Kelvin Graham (Christina), and Derrick Graham (Ashlie Chambers); his aunts, Deborah Ward Graham, Angela Abdulla, and Elanor Warren; his uncles, Rudolph Warren and Sylvester Warren, Jr. (Gloria); a great aunt, Elizabeth Ann May; his special cousin, Shaun Warren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers to include Derrick Graham, Kelvin Graham, Bartavious Salter, Jalyn Salter, Brashad Taylor, Cedric Clark, Bobby Walker, and George Key. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Salter and Curtis Reynolds.
