With great sadness we announce the passing of David Anderson Waters age 64 of Dothan AL. David passed on January 22, 2020 in his home.

David was born on May 27, 1955 in Dothan AL. The son of Lt. Col. William Robertson Waters and Doris Waters Holland. David was a loving and dedicated man. He spent 35 yrs as a golf course groundskeeper at the Dothan Country Club. David had a strong passion for family and friends. David loved Alabama and Dothan H.S. Football. He was a lifelong Dothan resident, his 1st job working for his Dad was at Dothan Lincoln & Mercury across from Dothan High School. David had numerous long time friends and enjoyed played dominoes with the likes of, Michael Hart, Stan Jenkins, Fred Moody, Mark Mixon, Ernest Stokes, Bruce Knopp, and Toby Reeves on occasion. David will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Waters Brown.
Survivors include brother; Billy Waters nieces; Rebecca Nelson, Angela Brown, Sonja Gaines and children.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 25th 2020 at Ward and Wilson Funeral Home at 12:00p.m. and 1:00 at graveside service at Memory Hill.
