Mr. David Joshua Strength, age 30, a resident of Cottonwood died Thursday June 9, 2016 at the SAMC.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday June 12, 2016 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend’s Jimmy Bolin, Tony Deese and Karl Hudson officiating.
The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samantha Strength at any Five Star Credit Union branch.
Mr. Strength was born on January 11, 1986 in Panama City, Florida the son of David Strength and Theresa Bolin Strength. Josh worked as a tire technician with A-One Tire in Cowarts and he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood. He was a 2004 graduate of Cottonwood High School and he lived most of his life in Cottonwood.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lou Cunningham; aunt, Joy Thomas.
Survivors include: wife, Samantha Strength, Cottonwood; son, Alex Strength; 3 daughters, Allie Strength, Gracie Strength and Maggie Strength all of Cottonwood; Mother, Theresa Strength, Father, David Strength both of Cottonwood; Grandparents, Charles & Marie Blount, Dothan; Charles and Marie Bolin, Slocomb; 2 brothers, Johnathon Strength (Sabrina), Slocomb; Justin “Doc” Strength Cottonwood; sister-in-law, MiKayla House (Charlie), Cottonwood; father & mother-in-law, Michael & Ann Greenwood, Campbellton, FL.; nephews, Hunter Strength, Kade Strength both of Cottonwood; John David Strength, Slocomb; uncle & aunt, Scott & Tammy
Bolin, Dothan; Grandmother, Shirley Greenwood, Campbellton, FL.; many aunts, uncles & cousins. Special friends: Tiffany & Jason Worley; Terrell & Darlene Crapps; Celeste & Heath Clay; Kacie & Nathan Roney; Marcie & Haston Jenkins.
