David L. Schofield, 54, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 in his home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Green Hill Cemetery in Troy, Alabama, where he will be buried next to his mother and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Angel House, 105 N. Bell Street, Dothan, AL 36303.

Born in Troy, Alabama, he was the son of Mary Spivey and Gerald Schofield. He attended school at Northview High School and graduated in 1982. David also had a great career as a truck driver for close to 30 years.

David is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Spivey.

David is survived by his daughter, Jessica Schofield; his father and stepmother, Gerald and Patricia Schofield; his sister, Ellaine Singletary; and his three brothers, Bill Schofield, Kirk Sanders, and Delbert Sanders.
