David Thomas Forbes, III a resident of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at his residence. He was 57.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6pm - 8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Myrtlewood Cemetery in Ft. Deposit, Alabama.

David was born on December 19, 1956 in Pensacola, FL and lived the early years of his life in Enterprise, AL. He was a 1975 graduate of Enterprise High School. David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University. He honorably served in the United States Coast Guard.

David was preceded in death by his father, David Thomas Forbes, Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Reid Forbes, Ft. Deposit, AL; his brothers, Julian William Forbes, Dothan, AL, and Robert Francis Forbes, Enterprise, AL; his sister, Rosalyn Forbes Holderfield, Dothan, AL; his nieces and nephews, Shanna Forbes Pelt, Tallahassee, FL, Jessica Ariel Holderfield, Dothan, AL, Matthew Reid Holderfield, Dothan, AL, Brent Alexander Forbes, Enterprise, AL, and Robert Michael Forbes, Elba, AL.
