David Thomas Lunseth, age 72, passed away Friday, April18, 2014 at his residence.


 


Born August 11, 1941 in Lethbridge Alberta Canada to the late Joseph Cameron and Myrtice E. Wilks Lunseth, Mr. Lunseth was a loving, caring, humorous father and grandfather, who loved to camp, fish, and golf. He was an avid Auburn fan, and he also enjoyed playing dominos. Mr. Lunseth loved his grandchildren dearly, always attending their special events. He also served his country in the United States Air Force, and was stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tully Air Force in Greenland.


 


Survivors include daughter, Sharon E. Lunseth; sons, Mark Lunseth (Aimee) of Dothan, and Scott Lunseth of Dothan; sisters, Joanne Westbrook of Columbus GA, and Bonnie Hollis (Steadman) of Dothan; brother, Jerry Lunseth (Patsy) of Dothan; grandchildren, Brynlee Lunseth, Sebastian Lunseth, Nicholas Culverhouse, Brandon Miller, and Ethan Miller.


 


Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11 AM from Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service.


 


Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to VA Disabled Veterans, 111 North Saint Andrews Street, Dothan AL. 36303.
