MIDLAND CITY. . .Dean Johnson Cunningham, a resident of Midland City, died Tuesday morning, August 15, 2023, at her home. She was 58.


            A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 19, 2023, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel.


            Dean Cunningham was born in Troy and was raised in the New Hope Community of Coffee County. She lived in the Sylvan Grove community, near Midland City, most of her lifetime. Dean was currently employed by Mercedes Benz of Dothan as a Parts Service Manager. She was preceded in death by her father, Joel Herman Johnson and a brother, Joseph Johnson.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Danny Ray Cunningham; a son, Derick Ray Cunningham and his wife, KC, of Dothan; her mother, Betty Jean Beasley, Waynesboro, MS; a granddaughter, Rayven Cunningham, four sisters, Teresa Myers (Danny), Newton, AL; Shelia Roberts, Ariton, AL; Darlene Adams, Greenville, AL; and Jessica Devora, Crestview, FL; four brothers, Robert Johnson and Keith Senn, both of Waynesboro, MS; Ronald Johnson (Wendy), Rutledge, AL and Jeremiah Johnson; a sister-in-law, Penny Poole (Raymond), brothers-in-law, Dennis Matthews (Brenda) and Glen Pipkin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
