Deb was born March 22, 1974 in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to laugh and was known for her infectious smile that could light the darkest of rooms with her mere presence. She always saw the good in everybody and radiated the love of Jesus Christ, which she sought to live by, daily. She enjoyed many things such as shopping, collecting perfumes, going to the beach, growing and tending her beautiful flowers. Many knew her as a resourceful lady who could take “nothing” and make “something” beautiful from it. She always focused on the “diamond” instead of “the rough”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her three oldest children, Clifton Dale Hillman.
Deb is survived by her husband, Steven Bryan McQueen, Sr. of Samson; four children, Clinton Dale Hillman of Dothan, Morgan Craig Hillman of Huntsville, AL, Carly Dale Hillman of Conway Springs, KS and Caleb Joel Massey of Anchorage, AK, stepson, Steven Bryan McQueen, Jr. (Jennifer) of Enterprise, AL, stepdaughter, Ashley Megan Capps (Matthew) of Ft. Campbell, KY; eight grandchildren, Maverick Liam and Grayson Vance Hillman, Parker Jackson Boswell, Leighton McQueen, Easton McQueen, Lucas McQueen, Jacob Norman and Archer Capps; and a number of special aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Waller, Paul Thurston, Scott Gilmore, David McQueen, Phillip Mixon and Don McDaniels.
