NEWVILLE. . .Debra Jo “Debbie” Henderson Levans, a resident of Henry County, north of the Tumbleton Community, died late Saturday night, August 28, 2021, at her home. She was 68.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Phillip Owings officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the mortuary. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.
Debbie Levans was born and reared in the Dothan area, daughter of the Daniel Webster Henderson and Mozella West Henderson. She formerly lived in Cottonwood and Webb before moving to Henry County in 1994. She was formerly employed by Larry’s Barbeque in Dothan. Debbie was a member of the Pine Hills Free Will Baptist Church, Dothan. She was preceded in death by a step-son, DeWayne Levans.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Dearl Levans, four daughters, Jody Andrews, Lorie Ann Levans, Shannon Levans and Joyce Ann Earnest (Chris); three sons, Daniel Andrews, William Andrews and Dearl Levans; two sisters, Brenda Hobbs (Clint) and Barbara Givens; a brother, Wayne Henderson (Judy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
