ANNISTON, ALABAMA. . .Dennis Allen Key of Anniston, Alabama, formerly of Dothan, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, at his home in Anniston. He was 71.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dennis was born September 17, 1951, in Alexandria, Alabama to Solomon Lawrence Key and Peggy Worthy Key. Dennis was raised in Alexandria and graduated from Alexandria High School. In 1985, Dennis and his family moved to Dothan. He worked in the automotive sales industry in Dothan for thirty years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dothan.

In addition to his parents, his brothers, Larry Key and Kenneth Key, and his sister, Kim Key, preceded him in death.

Surviving relatives include his sons, Drew Key (Kellie), Headland; Drake Key (Suzanne), Dothan, and Denton Key, Nashville; sisters, Janice Key Bradley (Dan), Atlanta, GA; and Jill Key, Anniston; a granddaughter, Emilia Gwen Key, Dothan, and other family and friends.
