Dennis Earl Ash

Dennis Earl Ash, a resident of Huntsville, AL originally from Dothan, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was 58 years old.

The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, February 20, 2022 from 1-3 pm.

Dennis was born on October 26, 1963 in Dothan. He was a graduate of Dale County High School and Wallace Community College. Dennis worked as an auto mechanic in Charles’ Shop in Pinckard for several years. For the last 10 years he worked with Homewood Suites where he traveled to their different properties and was the Chief Engineer of Maintenance.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Ned Otis and Helen Vickers Ash, by his brother, Bobby Ray Ash, and by his sister, Hazel Lee Ash.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Stacie McCray Ash; his daughter, Daja Parker; his step-children, Titanna (Rico) Murry, Jessica Green, Robyn McCray, and David McCree; his grandchild, Julius Gross; his five step grandchildren; his brothers, Charles (Fannie Mae) Ash, Ted Theodore Ash, Arthur David Ash, Wallace (Vivian) Ash, and James Louis (Kimberly) Ash; his sisters, Wanda Lee Ash, and Sahronda Ash; his best friends, LaMont Lewis and Anthony Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
