Denny Daughtry, a resident of Dothan passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at a local hospital. He was 63 years old.

Services with Military Honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm prior at the funeral home.

Denny was born July 15, 1955 in Dothan, Alabama. He served proudly in the U.S. Army as a M1 armor crewman and instructor for 22 years. His military career afforded him the opportunity to travel the world. Denny retired in 1996 and enjoyed spending his free time painting and gardening with his beloved dog Bella always at his side.

Denny was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Pitts; father, Orville Daughtry; twin brother, Kenny Daughtry.

Survivors include his son, Denny W. Daughtry and wife Christy; daughters, Dana Daughtry-Patterson and husband Jim, Deanna Daughtry; grandchildren, Autumn Justice, Reed Patterson, Gillian Daughtry, Matthew Daughtry, and Connor Daughtry; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
