Diana Lynn O’Neal Brown

Diana Lynn O’Neal Brown, a resident of Webb, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at a local hospital. She was 53 years old.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Caleb Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Diana was born on August 19, 1968 in Jefferson County the daughter of Dr. Harry and Jessie Jackson O’Neal. She was a 1986 graduate of Northview High School and received her associate degree in Science from Wallace Community College. She retired from Southern Nuclear Plant after 20 years working as an Armed Security Officer Nuclear Tech. Diana had a sweet soul. She was a selfless person who devoted her time and love to raising her grandson, Bracken. Diana would always put other’s needs before her own. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Harry O’Neal.

Survivors include her mother, Jessie O’Neal; her son, Justin Walding; her grandson, Bracken Walding; her sisters, Sandra O’Neal Martin, and Erin Belinda O’Neal (Rusty) Bethea; and her nephew, Hayden Bethea; and her nieces, Brantley Judah and Maggie Bethea.
