Diana Ruth Parker, 64, a resident of Midland City, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Tate and Roger Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wiregrass Angel House, P.O. Box 7133, Dothan, AL 36302.

Diana was born December 5, 1950 in Quincy, Indiana and spent the early part of her life there. She graduated from Cloverdale High School and Indiana State University. She was employed with a law firm in Indianapolis prior to moving to Midland City 28 years ago. She was employed with the Troy University Dothan Campus for over 20 years in Admissions Administration. She was a member of Memphis Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Parker; her brother, Fred (Nancy) Meyers; her sister, Joann (Rudy) Allee; several nieces and nephews.
