DOTHAN. . .Diane Jones Tice, a resident of Dothan, died early Sunday morning, February 11, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. She was 74.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Matthew Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Headland.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Jackie Scott, 4217 State Highway 173, Newville, AL 36353.
Diane Tice was born and reared near Newville, daughter of the late Bruce Jones and Mary Susan Hand Jones. She was a 1967 graduate of Newville High School. Diane was retired from Sony Corporation in Dothan. After retirement, she was employed by Flowers Hospital. Diane was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church, near Newville, and was affiliated Dothan Country Fellowship. She lived in Dothan all her adult lifetime.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Gerald Tice, a daughter, Christy Moore (John), Dothan; a son, Jerry W. Tice (Amanda), Dothan; two brothers, Terry Jones (Peggy), Newville; and Randy Jones (Faye), Abbeville; five grandchildren, Madison Martinez (Nate), Payton Moore, Logan Hicks (Victoria), Kaid Tice and Trevor Tice; two great-grandchildren, Callee Hicks and Ryker Hicks, several nieces and nephews.
