Diane K. Pittman

Diane K. Pittman, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at a local hospital. She was 63.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Diane was born on May 8, 1958 in Dothan, AL. She was a graduate of Ashford High School. Diane had recently retired from Southeast Health Medical Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Diane loved her family unconditionally, especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and was a hard worker. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Rozell and Mary Ella Dawsey Kennedy; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Wellman Pittman, Jr.; her son, Rashad (Cynthia Ward) Pittman; her daughter, Lashayrian (Michael) Pittman Taylor; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; her brothers, Anthony West and R.L. Kennedy; her sisters, Willie Mae Freeman, Marjorie Cook, Bessie Brown and Linda (James) Copeland; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Pittman and Eloise (Rob) Clark; her brothers-in-law, J. C. Pittman and Willie James (JoAnn) Pittman; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
