ABBEVILLE. . .Dianna Beall Zeigler, a resident of Abbeville, died late Wednesday night, August 12, 2020, at her home. She was 77.


     Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. (E.D.T.) Saturday, August 15, 2020, in the New Park Cemetery, Ft. Gaines, Georgia with Reverend Jeff Hines officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 P.M. Saturday in the sanctuary of the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church.


     Mrs. Zeigler was born in Thomaston, Georgia and was reared in Camilla, Georgia, daughter of the late Grady Herrington Beall and Sarah Edith Gray Beall. She lived in Pelham, Georgia before moving to Lake Eufaula in 2005. Mrs. Zeigler was a member of the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church. She was retired from the Thomas County Zoning Commission in Thomasville, Ga and also the Georgia Extension Service in Camilla, Ga. Mrs. Zeigler was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Zeigler.


     Surviving relatives include a daughter, Kimberly Driver, Cairo, GA; two sons, Michael Whittle, Havana, FL; and Jeffrey Hughes, Abbeville; two sisters, Beverly Trevisol (Gerry), Dublin, GA; and Gayla Baker, Pelham, GA; six grandchildren, Taylor Barlow (Savannah), Bailey Barlow (Chris Morant), Zack Whittle (Donna), Lindsey Ray (John), Patrick Gilbert (Val) and Alex Hughes; several great-grandchildren.


     Serving as active pallbearers will be Taylor Barlow, Zack Whittle, John Ray, Jamie Epperson, Patrick Gilbert and Tommy Akridge.
