ALBANY, GEORGIA. . .Donald “Don” Curran, 92, of Albany, Georgia, died Thursday, November 14, 2024, at The Oaks Assisted Living in Leesburg, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Home Chapel, Albany, Georgia, with interment to follow at 1:00 P.M. (C.S.T.), Sunday, November 17, 2024, in the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottonwood, Alabama. Dr. Butch Knight will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Kimbrell-Stern in Albany.
Born in Millinocket, Maine, Mr. Curran was the son of the late Lawrence Curran and Lena Foster Curran. He graduated with a Masters Degree from the University of Maine. Mr. Curran retired as Senior Engineer from M & M Mars. He was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Albany where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Curran was preceded in death by his wife, Florine Curran.
Survivors include his son, Danny Toole and his wife, Leslie, of Lee County; twelve grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
