Donald was born September 3, 1957, to Pete and Vernell Trawick, in Atlanta, Georgia. Both have preceded him in death.
Mr. Trawick attended Cottonwood High School. He was employed by Siemens Generation Services for 42 years, as both a traveling Millwright and a Craft Labor Supervisor. Upon retirement he enjoyed being an avid fisherman. Pete always enjoyed fishing in the Chipola River, and a few other spots if the fish were biting. He spent time dove hunting and working in his shop which he called piddling. He loved to watch old westerns and was ready to help anyone when needed. Pete was the go-to neighbor if someone needed nuts and bolts or power tools and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and was immensely proud of his son and liked to brag about his accomplishments, especially regarding the things he built. Pete was a super Grandfather who relished spending time with his granddaughters, catching crayfish and watching Gunsmoke together. Mr. Trawick was a member of Mount Zion Church in Cottonwood.
