Donald Ray Parker, age 77 a resident of Midland City died early Monday morning July 17, 2018 at his home under the care of Covenant Hospice. Arrangements will be announced by Family First Funeral Care. Mr. Parker was born in Midland City son of the late Robert Parker and Susie Holloway Parker. Donald lived in Puerto Rico for three decades where he owned and operated a successful dairy farm. After selling his dairy farm he moved to Okeechobee, FL and lived there before moving back to Midland City in 2005. Survivors include his wife Gail Parker of Midland City, 2 sons Donald (Nyvia) Parker of San Antonio, TX and Mitchell Parker of Okeechobee, FL 2 daughters Janie (Tommy) Medford of Crosby, TN and Patricia (Javier) Cisneros of Ft. Pierce, FL 1 brother Robert Junior (Lola) Parker of Valdosta, GA 5 sisters Hazel Plair of Bonifay, FL Robbie Sue (Jimmy) Bowman and Julia (Thomas) Gurthie of Midland City, Patsy Miliner of Bluffton, GA and Judy (Carl) Keener of Anniston, AL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Donald was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
