Donna A. Benton, 68, a resident of Dothan, passed away, Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Dale Medical Center, following an extended illness.

Donna was born March 22, 1956, in Olympia, Washington, to the late Donnell & Nadine (Bond) Adams. She moved to Dothan at an early age where she lived the remainder of her life. Donna was a 1974 graduate of Dothan High School. Following graduation, she attended Wallace Community College. Donna worked at Walmart as a cashier for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dothan.

She is preceded in death by, her parents.

She is survived by, her husband of 46 years, David A. Benton; two sons, David Benton (Casey) of Rehobeth, and Harrison Benton of Dothan; two daughters, JoAna McKenzie (Christopher), and Carol Andrews (Mike) both of Dothan; nine grandchildren, Shelby Mitchell (Joe Wiley), David Michael Andrews, Lawson McKenzie, Jack Andrews, Madison McKenzie, Ella Claire McKenzie, Thomas Benton, Wyatt Benton, and Eli Benton; one brother, Donnell Adams, Jr. (Tanya) of Dothan; two sisters, Sandra Buckhalt (Barry) of Dothan, and Sheila Petersen of Jakin, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Dale Medical Center for the care shown to their loved one during this time.

Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
