Donnie L. Bryan, 79, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Extendicare, following an extended illness.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2024, at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Stacy Stafford officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to, Southside Baptist Church, 423 E. Cottonwood Road, Dothan, AL 36301.

Donnie was born on October 5, 1945, in Elba to the late W.T. Bryan & Cathryn (Sharpless) Bryan. He was a graduate of Elba High School and later enlisted in the United States Army Reserves. Donnie proudly dedicated over 20 years of service to his country before his retirement. He was an active member of Southside Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Paulana Bryan; and his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Leigh (Wellington) Cannon of Newton; four sons, Glenn (Candace) Bryan, and Samuel (Sheree) Scott both of Prattville, Matthew (Rebekah) Scott, and Patrick (Renee) Scott, both of Dothan; two brothers, Gary (Paula) Bryan of Dothan, and Michael (Jane)  Bryan of Elba; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Noland Hospital Staff for the care given to their loved one during this difficult time.
