Mr. Donnie Roy Reeves of Geneva, Alabama passed away Monday, May 19, 2014.  He was 63.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing.

Donnie was born August 14, 1950, in Enterprise, Alabama.  He was a 1968 graduate of Geneva High School.  While in high school he worked as a DJ for WGEA and he enjoyed “the oldies” music.  Donnie worked for Benson Wholesale through the transition to Fleming Foods.  He loved Alabama football and the beach.  He was a very loving father and grandfather.

His father, Roy Reeves, and his sister, Linda Carol Barker, preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Anthony Scott (Traci) Reeves, Harvest, AL; one daughter, Angelique (Raymond) Jones, Spring Lake, NC; three grandchildren: Caitlin, Harrison and Bailey; mother, Ann Reeves, Geneva; other extended family and friends.
