OZARK…Mrs. Doris Janett Adair, a resident of Ozark, died late Friday morning, September 7, 2018 at her home. She was 83.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, September 10, 2018 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jamie Hattaway officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Adair, daughter of the late John and Lorene Brewer Elrod, was born in Charleston, Missiouri. She was retired from the City of Ozark Board of Education and Ft. Rucker Schools as a bus driver after thirty-five years employment. Mrs. Adair enjoyed playing bingo and bunco and was an avid bowler. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mrs. Adair was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Britt Adair, two sisters, Betty Sue Elrod and Charlotte House; a brother, John W. Elrod.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Denise Ann Deshazo (David), Taylor and Dianna Vines (Herb), Newton; a son, Joe C. Adair, St. Augustine, FL; a brother, Frank Elrod (Betty), Kevil, KY; grandsons, Ray Vines and Drew Deshazo; a great-granddaughter, Cali Deshazo; numerous nieces and nephews.
