Doris Lemons, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017. She was 64.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Stevenson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, 5130 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Lemons was born on December 4, 1952 in Schwabisch Hall, Germany and moved to the United States in 1975. She resided in Dothan for the past 31 years.

Mrs. Lemons was preceded in death by her father, Kurt Hubler.

Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Lemons, Sr.; her daughter and son-in-law, Bettina (Lemons) and Tracy Eugene Sullivan; her son, Larry D. Lemons, Jr.; her grandchildren, Aubry Stout, Lexi Wainwright, Lathan D. Lemons, and Alayla Lemons; her mother, Matilda Hubler; her sisters, Claudia Kutterer, Sylvia Miermeister, and Helga Ciupke-Scherer; her brothers, Joachim Hubler and Klaus Hubler.
