HEADLAND. . .Dorothy Diane “Ann” Loucks, a resident of Headland, died Monday morning, October 9, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. She was 81.

            Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 15, 2023, in the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Abbeville, with Reverend Terry Drinkwater officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 unti 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the church sanctuary.

            Ann Loucks was born and raised in Seminary, Mississippi, daughter of the  late Earl Drennan and Jewell Crosby Drennan. She lived in Seminary and Collins, Mississippi for many years before moving to the Headland area in 2008. Ann was affiliated with the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was retired from Hardee’s in Headland. Ann was preceded in death by a daughter, Lesia Maria Stringer and four sisters and five brothers.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Robert Carr Loucks, two daughters, Teresa Beasley (Bryant), Abbeville; and Pam Gray (Tom), Topsail, NC; grandchildren, Samantha Beasley, Dre Rodriguez, Cortney Beasley, Carlie Gray, Carson Gray and Cate Gray; great-grandchildren, Whit McArdle and Cole Garner; numerous nieces and nephews
