Dorothy “Dot” Jeanette Howell Estes Lolley, a resident of Chancellor, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Medical Center Enterprise.  She was 80.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 8:30 and continuing until service time.

 

Dot was born August 21, 1938 in Hartford, Alabama (Geneva County).  “Miss Dot” was retired from Sessions Cleaners as a seamstress and was better known as the best alterations lady in town.  She was a member of the Chancellor Assembly of God Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, T.B. Howell and Jennie Mae Cobb Howell; her only nephew, Chris Scott Howell; husband, Charles Wayne Barr; and husband, Bobby Earl Estes.

 

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Lolley of Enterprise, AL; her children: Beverly J. Holland (David) of Chancellor, AL, D. Loretta Spainhoward (Sherrill Cooper), Mike Earl Estes (Denise), and Bobby Mitchell Estes (Debbie), all of Enterprise, AL; step-daughters: Theresa Lolley and Denise Lolley of Enterprise, AL; brothers: Winston C. Howell of Hartford, AL, James Franklin Howell (Pat) of Enterprise, AL; her only niece, Linda Howell; grandchildren: Jason K. Johnson, James Michael Estes, Jeremy L. Maund, Allison Nicole Adkinson, Wayne Spainhoward, Ashley Marie Estes, Dixie Thomas; great-grandchildren: Lee, Ty, Brianna, Gavin, Khloe, Dakota, Bella, Adi, and Arizona.
