Dorothy G. Sego, a lifetime resident of Pinckard, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was 80.

Mrs. Sego was born on October 4, 1936 in Dale County and lived in Pinckard her whole life. She was employed with Globe Motors for over 20 years until her retirement. Later, she was employed at Wal-Mart in Ozark as a people greeter before moving to the lawn and garden department. She loved the outdoors where she flower gardened and fished. One of her passions was planning and going on trips with her friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 1 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Pinckard Memorial Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1 pm.

Mrs. Sego was preceded in death by her husband, Otis V. Sego and lifetime friend, Sherman A. King.

Survivors include her twin sons, Mickey (Betty) Sego of Taylor and Rickey (Martha) Sego of Eufaula; her grandchildren, Matt ( Christie) Sego of Pinckard, Adam (Amber) Sego of Battlecreek, MI, Stephanie Sego of Geneva, Micky Sego of Webb, Gunter Kirkland, Christen Sego, and Lynn (Justin) Herndoe ; great grandchildren, Savanna (Jonathan) Clark, Mason Sego, Jadia Sego, Evan Sego, Breanna Blount, Ryan Blount, Hannah Blount, Madison Proctor, Bridget Proctor, Isiah Sego, Trinity Sego, Isabell Sego and Cheyenne Mays; great-great grandchildren, Maggie Clark, Ashlynn Harmon, Sarah Blount and Daniel Anderson; and her brothers, Lamar (Jeanette) Glover and Harold (Pat) Glover.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Clark, Matt Sego, Steven Caldwell, Andy Loff, Gunter Kirkland and Mickey Sego, Jr.
