Dorothy Hoffman, 77, a resident of Dothan passed away Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. Columba Catholic Church Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 pm-7 pm with a rosary service beginning at 6:45 pm. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to St. Columba Catholic Church, 2700 West Main Street, Dothan, Alabama 36301.

Mrs. Hoffman the daughter of Albert and Margaret Fieth was born on July 21, 1938 in Jasper, Indiana. She was a homemaker while raising her children, but later worked as a tax preparer. Mrs. Hoffman enjoyed travel, antique collectibles and spending time with family. She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Hoffman; her 4 daughters, Sharon (Eric) Davis, Tanya Hughes, Rebecca (Everette) Clayton, and Christine (Chip) Wood; her 8 grandchildren, Ben (Katie) Saliba, Abby (Zach) Rogers, Matthew (Brittaney) Hughes, Heather (Cody) Hurst, Sarah (Kenton) Jones, Cole Clayton, Clint Clayton, and Emily Wood; her 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
