Dorothy Sheffield Pybus, 86 of Dothan went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Westbury Medical Home in Jackson, Georgia.


 


Visitation will be from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.


 


Funeral services will follow immediately at 1 P.M. Burial will be at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Berean Baptist Church in Dothan or The Alzheimer’s Association.


 


Mrs. Pybus was born July 18, 1926 in Early County, Georgia to the late Ezra and Ruby Sheffield. Mrs. Pybus attended Riley Business School and worked as a clerk. After her marriage, Mrs. Pybus was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother until the Lord called her home. Mrs. Pybus was a faithful member of Berean Baptist Church.


 


She was preceded in death by her husband William Esto Pybus, her brother, Wallace Sheffield, and her sister-in-law, Melba Sheffield.


 


Survivors include three daughters, Gayle Fisk (Ed), Port Orange, Florida; Faye Cox (Buddy), Locust Grove, Georgia; and Monica Hammett (Thomas), Sonora, Kentucky; and two sons, William Esto Pybus, Jr. (Londa), Richmond, Virginia; and Coy Pybus (Lynn), Griffin, Georgia; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
