Douglas G. Pollard of Geneva passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022.  He was 79.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Eunola Cemetery with Rev. Tim Stephenson, officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing.

Mr. Pollard was born in Geneva on December 7, 1942, to the late William Emitt Pollard and Jeanette Graham Pollard.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as a helicopter mechanic in Ft. Rucker for forty-one years.  He was preceded in death by his son, Chip Douglas Pollard.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Pollard of Geneva; son, Jobe Pollard (Sonia) of Enterprise; and four grandchildren, Jesse Pollard, Sofie Pollard, Parker Pollard, all of Enterprise, and Kaylie Pollard of Wicksburg.
