Douglas William Davis of Daleville, AL passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 78.

A private family burial will take place at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. 

Douglas was a Vietnam and Desert Storm veteran.  He had a lifetime of service to his country, serving in both the United States Army and Navy before retirement.  His love for the skies kept him working after his retirement with Era Aviation.

Douglas was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Davis and sister Martha Davis. 

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Christine Davis, Daleville, AL; daughter, Rebecca Carter, Toledo, OH; three grandchildren, Markus, Anastasia and Dante; two step-sons, Robert Owens (Chasidy), Crowley, LA; Ron Owens, Sulphur, LA; brother, James Davis, Sandusky, OH.
