Dovie Teal, a resident of Ozark passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Dale Medical Center. She was 65 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ms. Teal was born August 24, 1952 in Midland City, AL and lived the early part of her life in Plant City, FL. She moved to Headland, AL in 1965 where she was a homemaker. She loved to play Bingo and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her sons, Kelvin Teal, William Teal, Earl (Katrina) Teal, Sam Teal and Stevie Teal; a daughter, Christy Raley; 7 grandchildren, Caitlinn Teal, Daecia Teal, Samuel Teal, Steven Teal, Michael Teal, Cassie Raley and Ellis Raley; brothers, Lester Wilkerson, Larry Wilkerson and William Wilkerson; sisters, Geraldine Hutto and Martha Wilkerson; several nieces and nephews.
