ARITON…. Earl T. Senn (MSG, U.S. Air Force, Retired) a resident of Ariton, died early Tuesday morning, March 17, 2020, in Dale Medical Center. He was 86.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dave Walsh officiating. Graveside services, with full military honors, will follow in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, between Ozark and Ariton. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Senn, son of the late John Robert Isaac Cornelius Senn and Alabama Lee Senn, was a native of Elamville in Barbour County. He was a 1952 Graduate of Ariton School and he joined the United States Air Force in January 1953. Mr. Senn retired from the Air Force in May 1973 and was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. Following retirement, he worked with Michelin Corporation for sixteen years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and being outdoors. Mr. Senn was preceded in death by five brothers, Walter Senn, Lester Senn, Bermont Senn, Raymont Senn, and Wayne Senn.
Surviving relatives include his wife of sixty four years, Edna Danner Senn, Ariton; three children, Rodney Earl Senn (Jan), Dothan, Perry Douglas Senn (Mildred K.), Ariton, and Vonda Sutton (Dale), Ariton ; brother, Leron Senn (Jeanette), Ariton; two sisters-in-law, Sue Senn, Birmingham and Vivian Senn, Carriere, MS; four grandchildren, Jessica Mills, Mt. Juliet, TN; David Earl Senn (Sarah), Dothan; Jared Allen Sutton, Brooklyn, NY and Mary Catherine Ray (Alan), Gulf Breeze, FL; three great-grandchildren, Haley Strub, Joshua Senn, and Gabriel Senn.
