Earldon Stott Arwood, a resident of Pelham, AL, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Birmingham, AL.  She was 94.


 


A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Enterprise, AL with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Lakeview, Pelham’s First United Methodist Church.


 


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation (www.macular.org).


 


Mrs. Arwood was born September 10, 1920 in Chidester, Arkansas.  As a former resident of Johnson City, TN, she and her husband, Ramon, owned and operated Market Street Drug Store.  She was a former long-time member of Munsey United Methodist Church and a current member of Lakeview, Pelhams’s First United Methodist Church.  While living in Enterprise, she and her husband, Ramon, were members of Heritage United Methodist Church. 


 


She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Arwood, as well as her brothers and sisters. 


 


Survivors include a daughter, Raylene Arwood Parker (Roger) of Pelham, AL; a son, Gary Earle Arwood of Memphis, TN; 2 grandchildren: Denise Parker Rhinehart (Craig) and Jefferson Parker (Caren); 5 great-grandchildren.
