Earline C. Green of Geneva, AL passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. She was 86.

As per Mrs. Green’s request, there will be no formal service planned. Memorial contributions may be given to Maple Avenue Baptist Church Bereavement Committee or to Wiregrass Nursing Home c/o Haley Huggins.

Earline was born on May 06, 1938 in Holmes Co., Florida to the late Wilburn S. and Eleanor Bell Sketoe Cook. She was a faithful member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church for many years. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a hairdresser and later, a real estate agent, along with her late husband. Earline was a loving and devoted sister, aunt and friend, who will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul V. Green and a brother, Harold G. Cook.

Earline is survived by one sister, Shearlon C. Cross (Bobbie) and one brother, Clyde Cook (Judy); nieces, Lisa Cross, Loren Cross, Linda Griffin (David), Malinda Ashton (Kevin), Tracey Adams (Scott), Shannon Walden (David) and a nephew, Jeff Cook (Amanda).

The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Dr. John Simmons, Southern Care Hospice and Wiregrass Nursing Home and Rehab for your dedicated love and care shown to her during this time. The family also wishes to express gratitude to Rev. Ricky Hall and Maple Avenue Baptist Church for your love, visits and phone calls.
