Earline Smith Tindol Laytart of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Enterprise.  She was 85.


Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 19 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Tabernacle Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 - 8 pm.


Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1701 Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311; or Southern Care Hospice, 5 North Pointe Parkway, Suite D & E, Enterprise, AL 36330. 


Mrs. Laytart was born March 31, 1929 in Coffee County to the late Tenioun and Ruby Hundley Smith.  In addition to her parents, her husband, J.T. Tindol and her son, Dwight Tindol preceded her in death. 


Survivors include her daughter, Jerlene Anderson (Tom) of Enterprise; 2 grandchildren: Cara Gates (Darren) and Jason Anderson (Jessica) of Enterprise; 5 great-grandchildren: Minleigh, Scarlett, Kendall, Chloe, and Jayden; sister, Sara Parrish (James K.) of Phenix City; 2  brothers: Trenton Smith (Elaine) of New Brockton and LaDon Smith (Cathy) of Elba; several nieces and nephews.
