Eddy Hardy, Jr.

Eddy Hardy, Jr, 52 of Jacksonville Beach, FL formerly of Panama City, FL passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his home. Eddy was born in Selma, AL and was a lifelong resident of Panama City. He was a member of the class of 1990 from A. Crawford Mosley High School where he excelled in football, baseball and wrestling. 

Eddy was a protestant by faith and was the manager of Zula’s Surf Shop in Ponte Vedra, FL. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Eddy had a bigger than life personality and was loved by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his parents; Eddy and Mary Hardy of Panama City Beach, two daughters; Regan Grace Hardy and Brayden Faith Hardy of Panama City, two sisters; Suzanne Hardy Davis and husband, Todd of Cottondale, FL and Joy Hardy of Destin, FL, and nieces and nephews; Skye Tolbert, Saylor Tolbert, Styles Tolbert and Dawson Davis.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Hodgesville Baptist Church Cemetery in Hodgesville, AL.
