Edna E. Forrester

Edna Forrester, a resident of Cowarts, AL passed away at a local hospital on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was 74 years old.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Littlefield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Edna was born on September 5, 1946 in Houston County. She was employed with Southeast Health in the Environmental Services department for 40 years. Edna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Mathews Anderson; her brothers, Robert Anderson, Earnest (Ludine) Anderson, and A. E. (Sara) Anderson; her sisters, Johnnie Barrentine, Betty Hughes, and Marie Anderson; her brothers-in-law, Buford Forrester and Jessie Forrester; and her sister-in-law, Lucille.

Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years, John Henry Forrester, Cowarts, AL; her son, Danny (Naomi) Forrester; and her 2 grandchildren, Jade and Daniel Forrester, all of Pace, FL; her brothers, Early (Barbara Watson) Anderson, Charles (Beverly) Anderson, James (Betty) Anderson, and Junior Anderson; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Ricky Stallings.
