Edward Earl Clark Sr. of Ashford passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at his residence. He was 80.


Formerly from Columbia Tennessee and Seminole, GA.


 


Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, August 15, 2014, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Dixon and Brother Keith Ammons      officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


Edward owned and operated Clarks Heating and Cooling in Seminole and co-owner of Dothan Ambulance Service. He retired from Flowers Hospital and he was a member of the first Houston County Rescue Squad and a member of Fire and Rescue in Lake Seminole. He was a veteran of Korean War in the United States Navy.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Sunday, August, 17 2014. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice.


 


He is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Mae Clark, Father William T. Clark, Brothers Jimmy Clark, and William P. Clark and grandson Brandon Clark.


 


He is survived by his sons: Eddie Clark (Kristy), Donnie Clark (Thelma), Ronnie Clark (Donna) and one daughter Peggy Collins (Steve), two sisters, Lennie Sewell and Linda Ammons (Keith), 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A very special loved one Helga Reed of Columbia, TN.


 


 


Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Clark, Tim Clark, Chris Clark, Justin Clark, Matthew Pitts and Jeremy Currie.
