EDWARD LEONARD GALE, JR.
DONALSONVILLE, GA…Edward Leonard Gale, Jr., a resident of the Donalsonville, GA, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Tallahassee, FL hospital. He was 66.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 P.M. before the service at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Gale was born in Fernandina, Florida to Shelby Murphy Gale and the late Edward Leonard Gale, Sr.. He was a 1973 Graduate of Seminole High School. He worked with Georgia-Pacific Corporation in Cedar Springs, Georgia, before he medically retired. Mr. Gale was a member of the Paper Workers Union. He was of Baptist Faith. He was an avid softball and pool player.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kip Gale.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Dora Jane Harrell Gale; his daughters, Christina Gale of Donalsonville, GA, Heather Gale of Tallahasse, FL, Shelby Diana Gale of Donalsonville, GA; his sons, Jason Gale of Atlanta, GA, Michael Gale (Danielle) of Montrose, CO, Blake Gale of Clarksville, TN; his mother, Shelby Murphy Gale of Jakin, GA; his sister, Diana Spooner (Tommy) of Iron City, GA; his brother, Dennis Gale (Stacey) of Jakin, GA; his grandchildren, Alyxus McCardle, Samuel Gale, Alexander Gale, Devin Gale, and Natasha Gale.
