ABBEVILLE. . .Edward Orville Harrison, a resident of Abbeville, died early Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015, in a Dothan hospital of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred on Henry County Road 65. He was 60.


            Memorial services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in the Lakeside Christian Fellowship with Reverend Mickey Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.


            Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36311.


            Mr. Harrison was born and reared in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Henry County thirty years ago. He was a member of the Lakeside Christian Fellowship. Mr. Harrison was employed by Qualico Steel in Webb as a machine operator. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Harrison, his mother, Madlynne Weems, his Dad who raised him, Robert Frank Weems, Sr., four sisters, Wylean Smith Blair, Jane Mickler, Alesha Harrison and Melissa Piland, and two brothers, Bobby Weems and Wayne Weems.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Lisa McLeod Harrison, two sons, Jeremy Harrison and Jacob Harrison, all of Abbeville; five brothers, Allen Harrison and Edward Harrison, both of Andalusia; Joe Weems, Tallahassee; Ben Kendall, Pensacola; and Perry Weems, Tallahassee; aunts, Mary M. Weems, Haleburg; and Martha Sanders, Abbeville.
