Little Eli Randall Newton of Samson, AL was escorted into Heaven on the wings of angels Friday, December 16, 2022 at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva, AL. He was two years old.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Joe Ward officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Eli was born in Enterprise, AL on February 11, 2020 to Christopher Randall and Britney Amber Hilligoss Newton. Eli loved listening to music, watching Bluey, and playing with his toy dinosaurs and race cars.

Eli is survived by his parents, Chris and Britney Newton of Samson, AL; one sister, Sophia Newton of Samson, AL; maternal grandmother, Lena Lindsey; paternal grandfather, Carlton Newton (Lisa); paternal grandmother, Rose Newton; and great-grandmother, Roberta Palmer.
