A funeral service to honor Elijah's life will be held by his family at 12 noon on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home. In this time of mourning, they find strength in each other and in the knowledge that Elijah's life was a blessing to all who knew him. As they gather to remember their sweet boy, they will share stories, tears, and laughter, celebrating the profound impact of his presence in their lives.

Elijah Malachi Donaldson, a cherished infant son of Jessica Donaldson and Larry Rickard, III, graced this world with his presence on June 16, 2024, and during his brief journey on Earth, he touched many hearts. Born in Dothan, Alabama.

He was the beloved grandson of Larry Rickard, Jr., Elijah's siblings, Joshua Mansfield, Les Rickard, Shyann Donaldson, Jax Donaldson, Leela Donaldson, and Luke Donaldson, will forever hold the memory of their dear brother in their hearts.

Though his time was fleeting, Elijah's impact was profound. He was a beautiful reminder of the preciousness of life and the joy that new beginnings can bring. In his passing, he leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate through his family. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Desiree Donaldson and Kimberly Clore, who surely welcomed him with open arms into eternal peace.

Elijah's life, was a testament to the depth of love that can be shared in even the shortest of times. He will be remembered for the joy he brought into the world and the unspoken promise of what could have been. His family will think of him with every gentle breeze, every quiet lullaby, and every twinkling star in the night sky, knowing that their little angel is watching over them.

Elijah Malachi Donaldson's journey on Earth was a reminder to all of us that life, no matter how long or short, is a gift. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as he lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. His spirit will continue to inspire and remind us to cherish every moment we are given.

Elijah Malachi Donaldson, though your time with us was brief, your memory will be eternal. Rest in peace, little angel.
