Elizabeth A. Tisdale

Elizabeth A. Tisdale, a resident of Slocomb, died Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home. She was 73.

Burial will be held at a later date at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Byrd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tisdale was born March 7, 1943 in Washington, North Carolina and grew up in Virginia. She later resided in Ocala, Florida for many years before moving to Slocomb. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Tisdale.

She is survived by a son, Richard A. Harris of Portsmouth, VA and a daughter, Cathy Munn of Slocomb; a grandson, Andrew Thompson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Mary Brownling of Chesapeake, VA and Faye Cole of Gautier, MS; two brothers, John MacDonald Harris, III of Texas and William Harris of NJ.
