Elizabeth Annette Hattaway Mock of Enterprise AL passed away on Saturday December 9, 2023. She was 81 years old.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva AL Reverend Stephen E Smith and Reverend Joshua Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 am.
Mrs. Mock was born in Geneva County AL on August 31, 1942 to the late Norman P and Jewell Yates Hattaway. She worked many years of dedicated service with Enterprise Electronic. She later worked at National Security Insurance Company in Elba AL. She was a 1960 graduate of Samson High school and later continued and graduated from Enterprise state Community College. Mrs. Mock was a member of Christ Community Church in Enterprise for over 50 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the piano, fishing and going to the beach. She will be remembered by her family as being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, M. Johnny Mock, Annie Inez Hattaway (twin), brother and sister in laws Verlin Wambles, Doug & Virginia Weeks, Shelly Speller, Doug Mock, and Janice Mock.
She is survived by one son M. Kenneth Mock and his wife Lisa Mitchell-Mock of Enterprise AL; one daughter Kathy Mock McDaniel of Enterprise AL; two grandsons, Michael McDaniel and Colton Bedsole, both of Enterprise AL; one sister Norma (Kevin)VanVoorst of Samson AL sisters and brother in laws Frances Wambles, Mary Speller, Jean Mock, Billy Mock, Jimmy Mock, Emmett Mock, Robert Mock (Nadine) Debra (Jeff) Nunn, Cindy (Scott) Motteler, Randy(Diana)Mock, Susan (Tony) Kelley, Dennis (Wendy) Mock and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Till, Steve Weeks, Scott Weeks, Michael Wambles , Tony Kelley, and Colton Bedsole.
The family wishes to thank the dedicated medical staff at Flowers hospital and Gentiva Hospice for the loving care that was given.
